ABOUT THIS KNITBITCH
My name is Kamille, im a young woman and feminist from Denmark.
Ive always been passionate about making a presence and using my voice. Understanding that taking your space, filling the room with all that you are, doesn’t take space from others. I want to create a univers, where everyone feels they get to be their biggest self.
My company Kamille Wenneberg sells beginner friendly knit recipes targeted individuals, who dare to break the norms on how and what knitting can express. I work with innovative shapes and methods, that gives you a unique and personal result.
WHY FUTURE MILF
The FUTURE MILF knit is inspired by my mom. In my youth I had been teased with my mom being a “milf”. It made me want to re-claim the term, and turn it in to something I could be proud of. That was my initial reason for the design. The more time I spend wearing the sweater and thinking about “future milf”, the more the term grew on me.
Quickly it became a tool to use my voice and express my opinion. A symbol, rather than a joke. In reality you could put all types of thought-provoking things on the sweater. There is just something fascinating about spending that many hours working with a craft as old as time, on a modern feministic message that, to top it all, originates from porn.
