The hat is worked from the bottom up. The colorwork pattern is knitted along the way, and the hat is shaped with decreases at the top. An optional i-cord edge can be added and ends are woven in.

It is knitted with zero ease.

The pattern is digital, and will be sent through mail as a PDF. In the pattern you'll find guiding videos (which sends you to youtube).

4 mm circular needle (30 cm)

4 mm double-pointed needles

5 mesh markers

Merinocotton 120 by Hjertegarn – 50% wool, 50% cotton

Weight/Length: 50 g = approx. 90 m.

Kid Silk Mohair by Hjertegarn – 72% Mohair, 28% Silk

Weight/Length: 25 g = approx. 210 m.

Gauge when knit together: 10 x 10 cm = 23 sts

1 of each skein is used.
